Hey Xbox users! We’re releasing version 3 of our 2309 Xbox app to Xbox Insiders who are enrolled in the PC Gaming Insiders Preview. There are many fixes listed below!
New releases of beta products for Windows games:
- Xbox App Version Released: 2309.1000.28.0
- available: 5:00 PM PST – Aug 17, 2023
Current releases of Windows Game Trials:
- Game bar version: 5,823,3261.0
- released: 5:00 PM PST – March 31, 2022
- Game Services version released: 13.79.11001.0
- released: 5:00 PM PST – July 13, 2023
What’s new in 2309:
- Games in the Coming Soon to Game Pass channel now have a countdown timer on the store page
- The My Library tab now has filters for Install, Ownership, and Game Pass
- The Play Later in My Library list is now collapsible
- Improvements to application startup performance
- New animations have been added
- Install Queue screen with a new look with a link to the unified Install Options menu. Recent installs can be found in the sidebar and in your library.
- You can now mark notifications as read instead of having to delete them
- There are new errors within the app when the game you tried to launch failed
Bug fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the group title would not display correctly until the user had fully joined the group
- Fixed an issue where the Notification Center text would not align with the edges correctly
- Fixed an issue where you could not use keyboard buttons to select Close
- Fixed an issue where the currently installed title would not appear at the top of the install queue
- Fixed an issue where the Join button would remain visible even after joining a group
- Several UI issues have been fixed
