This recall includes Sky Wheels, which are a single active play component manufactured and sold to businesses. Can be integrated into a larger indoor play system. The Sky Wheel consists of a 14-inch diameter 4-spoke alloy wheel attached to a milled, threaded, downward-facing shaft supported by an overhead bar within the frame structure of the gaming system.

Businesses should contact Soft Play to schedule a free inspection. If necessary, repairs will be made. Soft Play has contacted all known companies/operators directly. Companies have also been advised to contact customers not to use the Sky Wheel until it has been checked and repaired if necessary.

Accidents / Injuries:

The Company has received a total of 15 reports of the Sky Wheel detaching from the playset rail, including three reported injuries involving scalp lacerations.

Sold to McDonalds, YMCA, Lifetime Fitness, Burger King, Crunch Fitness, LTF Club Organizations and other recreational and fitness play areas for children’s use from June 2009 through July 2022 for approximately $624.
